Community Supported Agriculture
Our CSA program is another way we're implementing our Building Knowledge, Building Community, Building a Farm concept. We hope to make an impact on the health of our community by connecting people to real food grown without chemicals or synthetic pesticides.
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs are a growing trend in agriculture that has developed in response to the disappearance of the small local farm. CSA members help support their local farm by paying in advance for their share of the farm’s harvest. In exchange, the farmer plants, cultivates, harvests, washes and distributes the fruits of this labor to CSA members on a weekly basis. In effect, the farmer and CSA members form a partnership rooted in the production, distribution and consumption of locally grown food.
If you are in the North Fayette area and interested in joining our CSA, be sure to check out our CSA details page.
